What you get
Most trade businesses lose money in the gap between quoting and invoicing, not in the work itself. A quote goes out and nobody knows whether it was accepted. A job gets done and sits three weeks before anyone raises the invoice.
This is a single place for both. You build a quote from your own line items, it goes out as a branded PDF, and its status is visible without asking anyone. Accepted quotes become jobs with a date and an assigned person. Each job carries its own notes, photos and customer history, and moves through to invoice-raised so nothing is finished but unbilled.
The deliberate boundary is invoicing. The moment a job is marked invoice-raised, it is handed to whatever you already use for accounting. That boundary is what keeps the delivery predictable – accounting integration is a scoping conversation, not a template.
