See every client and the stage their lodgement is at, without opening the master spreadsheet.
Every practice has the spreadsheet. One tab, one row per client, colour-coded columns, and one person who understands it. It works until two people need it open at once, or until the person who built it is on leave in March.
This is the same information as a board that several people can use at the same time. Stages are configured to match how you already work rather than an imposed process. Each client and period has an owner and a due date, and overdue work is visible without reading every row.
Demand here is sharply seasonal – February to March and June to July. That is worth knowing for marketing, and it is also why the build deliberately excludes anything that depends on an ATO or practice-software connection: those turn a predictable week into an unpredictable one.
